User Agreement
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) supplements the Terms of Use and governs rights in content you submit to the AutoRig Online service (the “Service”) operated by the Operator of AutoRig Online (“we,” “us,” or the “Operator”). By submitting content or using the Service, you agree to this Agreement.
If this Agreement is made available in more than one language, the English version controls in case of conflict, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
1. Definitions
- “User Content” means 3D models, textures, links, URLs, metadata, and other materials you upload or provide to the Service.
- “Outputs” means results produced by the Service from User Content, including without limitation rigged geometry, skeletons, skin weights, animation data, retargeted clips, packaged files, and other processed or derived assets.
- “Previews” means raster images (e.g., thumbnails, poster frames, screenshots) and video previews generated by or for the Service, including previews rendered from the scene, viewport, or pipeline outputs.
2. Your representations
You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have obtained all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to submit User Content and to grant the licenses below; (b) User Content and our use as permitted herein do not violate third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights) or applicable law; (c) you will not submit unlawful content or content that infringes others’ rights.
3. License to operate the Service and create derivatives
You grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and perform User Content, and to create, use, reproduce, modify, and distribute Outputs and derivative works based on User Content, solely as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and demonstrate the Service (including debugging, quality assurance, backups, and abuse prevention).
This includes the right to generate, store, transmit, and display Outputs and Previews in task interfaces, downloads, galleries, APIs, logs, and internal systems.
4. Previews (raster and video)
You grant the Operator the right to create, store, transmit, and display Previews derived from User Content and/or Outputs (including automated or manual renders, thumbnails, and short video clips), in connection with the Service and your tasks.
5. Promotional and marketing use
You grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use Previews and non-substantial depictions of Outputs (such as thumbnails, short video excerpts, or anonymized or cropped examples) in promotional and marketing materials related to the Service, including on the website, social media, demonstrations, presentations, press releases, app store listings, and investor or partner materials, provided that such use is for the purpose of promoting the Service and does not state or imply that you endorse any specific product or service beyond the fact that the Service was used, unless you separately agree in writing.
We may edit or combine Previews for layout or clarity, but we will not use your name, trade name, or logo in marketing without your prior consent unless we are legally required or you have already made that information public in connection with the Service in a way that makes such attribution reasonably expected.
6. Ownership
As between you and the Operator, you retain ownership of your User Content subject to the licenses granted herein. The Operator retains ownership of the Service, its software, tooling, and methodologies (excluding your underlying User Content). Outputs may incorporate both your original materials and Operator technology; nothing in this Agreement restricts your use of Outputs for your own projects in accordance with your rights in the underlying User Content and applicable third-party licenses.
7. Third-party and proprietary restrictions
We do not claim ownership of third-party assets in your files. You remain responsible for complying with licenses and restrictions of third-party models, rigs, or materials. If you require a narrower license than granted above, do not submit such content.
8. Enforcement and takedowns
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at support@autorig.online with sufficient detail to assess the claim. We may remove or disable access to content when required by law or in good faith based on a valid notice.
9. Termination
Licenses granted for operational purposes generally expire when you delete content and we have completed removal from active systems, subject to reasonable retention periods (including backups and legal holds). Licenses granted for Previews and promotional materials already created and distributed may continue for archival and ongoing display of those materials, as is customary for marketing assets, unless mandatory law requires removal and removal is feasible.
